From registration to your next job
These are the steps your team can expect. Nothing hidden behind phone tag or informal groups — just the marketplace rules and your installer portal.
Step 1
Register your business
Create an installer account with your company details and accept the marketplace terms. It is the same secure login system our customers use, with your profile marked as an installer.
Step 2
Sign in and finish onboarding
After registration, sign in with your email and password. Complete onboarding and subscription billing (including any trial we offer) so your account can access live leads.
Step 3
Review vetted leads
Homeowners come to Energy Badger for solar PV and battery storage estimates and quotes. Our team checks enquiries before they are published, so you see serious projects rather than raw spam.
Step 4
Bid in timed auctions
Each lead runs as a time-limited auction on a clear bid ladder in pounds. Raise your bid while the clock is running if you want to stay competitive. When time is up, the highest bidder wins.
Step 5
Win, pay, and follow up
If you win, the lead fee is charged through the payment method on your account. You then work the opportunity like any other job — clear rules, no opaque allocations.
Why we use auctions
Auctions give every participating installer a fair shot at the same lead, with transparent timing and amounts. You decide how much a given opportunity is worth to your business.
If nobody bids, the lead can close without a winner — we do not force a mystery match. That keeps expectations clear for installers and homeowners alike.
Subscription access
Marketplace access is on a monthly subscription so we can run vetting, platform support, and a stable experience for serious installers. Pricing and any trial are shown when you register and during onboarding.
You can manage billing from your account when your circumstances change — you are not buying a lead just to see the marketplace.
Inside the installer portal
After you sign in, the same dashboard that hosts your lead board also gives you the advanced solar savings tool — the full property workflow beyond the public quick estimate.
